Client: Ann Sacks Slabs
Assignment:
The client was looking for a photographer to shoot several slab heroes hanging from a forklift arm in a straight-on consistent format to represent on their website. They provided a very specific example of what they were looking for which allowed me to capture their vision into consistent high quality photographs.
Challenges:
The large product was to be photographed in their warehouses which presented limited natural light and overhead fluorescent lighting. It was also important to capture the most accurate representation of each slab - color, contrast, detail and tone need to be exactly as seen in person. I brought in a full lighting setup and v-flats to create a photo studio within the space. I photograph tethered to a computer which allows me to pay attention to detail as well as to color correct on set with the studio lighting still in place.
Final Product:
Ann Sack’s marketing team received new product images for their website. The client was very pleased with the first photo shoot and went on to book several more photo shoots in all their warehouses nation wide.
