Leslie Parrott is a freelance product photographer. Her editorial photography style and knowledge of visual branding allows her to photograph well crafted imagery for marketing and advertising campaigns. She photographs from the consumers point of view while staying true to the branding already in place. She prefers the use of natural light, even in studio, but will supplement with a LED lighting setup. Leslie’s style stays consistent through visual storytelling and a focus on color and light. With her background in marketing and content management, her strong eye for composition and lighting and her familiarity with marketing platforms, Leslie Parrott works with the client to provide high quality photographs that reflect the clients vision.

Client: DeVries Global for Olay Fresh Effects and Olay Body

Assignment:

The client was looking for a photographer to shoot table top product images for a Fall social media campaign.

Challenges:

The client needed a photographer to shoot all content over a weekend as they had to re-shoot the entire campaign due to unusable content from the original photographer hired. They hired myself and one other photographer to re-shoot. The other photographer had beautiful content he shot out of his personal photo studio, however it did not capture the more authentic look and feel the agency was looking for. They wanted content that was styled to relate to a tween and teenage girl. The client ended up using my work for the campaign and brought me in for a few extra days of shooting. Because the agency had props provided and a surplus of product in their office, I ended up photographing it all in a conference room in their office. This was also beneficial to then get on-set commentary and analysis from the photo editors in office. I was able to shoot and upload directly to their computer, then tweak anything needed on set in order to reflect their vision. Because the photographs were uploaded directly into the photo editors computer, she was able to start post production right away and meet deadline in a timely manner.

Final Product:

The client was very happy to receive images right away and were thankful for the hands on collaboration. The photographs were used on the Olay Fresh Effects social media platforms for their Fall campaign. The client brought me in for an additional photo to be used in an advertisement on the Olay Body’s social media platforms.
