Client: Fireside at Five for TownePlace Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown/Capitol District
Assignment:
The client needed a variety of lifestyle imagery that fit their brand aesthetic. They were looking for the photographs to feel authentic and fun as they were to be used specifically for their seasonal social media and marketing campaigns. The client was extremely helpful in pre-production as well as detail oriented regarding the look and feel of the imagery.
Challenges:
The shot list was five pages long and included a number of locations. I was upfront with the client and let them know that I felt like the shot list was more realistically for a 4-5 day photo shoot. It would be impossible to organize and capture all of it in one full day. However, I was willing to work with them, as their budget only allowed for one full day photo shoot [per seasonal campaign]. They had a representative to direct and assist with the day-of orchestration and he was wonderful! He helped with coordinating models and even stepped in as a model for the ones who were unable to make it last minute. The client was understanding and flexible with the shot list - we ended up using it as a guide more than anything. With such a lengthy shot list, we had a number of ideas for posing the models and I even had some direction of the shots to take when the models were not yet ready. Thanks to exceptional organization from the client, a day of photo director that knew exactly what the client was looking for, as well as an excellent photo assistant handling the lights and photo equipment setup - I was able to continuously be shooting in order to capture a large quantity and variety of photographs.
Final Product:
The client received an image library to use for their their seasonal social media and marketing campaigns.
Client Response: “These photos are tremendous! Thank you so much for bringing our vision to life! We're so excited about this content.”
